Repeat Prescriptions

We can only accept written requests for repeat prescriptions. We can no longer accept verbal or telephone requests.

This policy is in place to –

• Ensure maximum patient safety
• Ensure that patients are aware of the medications they are requesting
• Reduce the risk of prescribing of unnecessary medications
• Minimise human error

There are three ways to request a repeat prescription:

• Via our website ardarafamilypractice.ie and complete prescription renewal form in Our Services tab.
• Email request into ardarafamilypractice@gmail.com.
• Complete repeat prescription form in surgery.
