COVID-19 Booster Campaign
A booster vaccine is recommended for all those > 50 years old, those aged 5-49 with certain underlying medical conditions, all adults who have not yet received their first booster and pregnant women. If you are unsure whether you qualify for a vaccine, please contact the surgery and speak to one of our nurses who will be able to guide you.
Influenza Vaccine
The following groups are eligible for the free flu vaccine in 2023/24:
- All children aged 2-12 years at the time of vaccination
- Persons aged 65 and older
- Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
- Those aged 6 to 23 months and aged 13-64 years with certain underlying medical conditions (heart, liver, neurological, kidney, cancer, respiratory, diabetes, Down syndrome, haematological disorders, BMI > 40, neurodevelopmental disorders such as cerebral palsy and intellectual disability)
- Carers and household contacts of people with increased medical risk
